The West Garage at Boston Logan Airport is designed to be the "Gateway
to Logan" and, as such, features a high degree of architectural
treatment that includes precast spandrels, exposed steel and glass
block. The garage provides speedy access via an enclosed circular helix
and through vehicle bridge connections to the adjacent Central Garage.
Although the parking structure provides 3,250 parking spaces, it is
pedestrian-friendly, with a series of skywalks and moving sidewalks for
easy access to terminals. The facility also includes 20,000 square feet
of office space for Airport parking operations, and a consolidated exit
plaza that handles the nearly 10,000 spaces in the West and Central
garages.
