Given its exotic location, this large employee-only parking facility was designed to blend in with the surrounding resort buildings, especially the adjacent grand ballroom. An extraordinary level of detail was provided to accomplish this objective. The striking exterior façade is composed of concrete masonry walls, painted stucco, coral accent elements and Spanish tile roofs on the stair towers. The result was an elegant mix of color, forms and Spanish heritage architecture. Even with the intricate exterior treatment, this parking facility was constructed in nine months.
The facility contains 1,014 parking spaces, and offers extra-wide modules for easy navigation and parker comfort. The ground level contains office space and work rooms for resort management . Six open stair towers provide multiple points of access for pedestrians.
