This existing 630-space, five-level facility which formerly provided parking for staff of Children's Medical Center was expanded vertically and horizontally prior to being converted into visitor parking. The one-level vertical expansion and five-level horizontal expansion brings the total parking capacity to 930 spaces. New elevators were added to improve vertical circulation, and new parking control equipment was specified.
The top level of the horizontal expansion was designed to accommodate a pedestrian bridge that connects a new employee parking facility to this visitor parking and back to the main campus via the expanded garage.
