This precast concrete parking facility provides parking for staff and visitors to Children’s Medical Center and to the adjacent Outpatient Surgery Center. This garage was delivered to the owner as a Design/Build fast-track project. The architecture complements the surrounding area and coordinates with an existing building which sits only 30 feet to the east. The frontage of this parking deck is highly visible to a major interstate highway into downtown Dallas, and serves as a gateway to the Children’s Medical Center campus.
A 30-foot wide pedestrian connector ties this garage to the new Outpatient Surgery Center and Hospital Administration offices. A 300-foot pedestrian bridge spans a railway line and connects this garage to another parking facility closer to the main hospital.
