For the convenience of its shoppers, Wal-Mart constructed this two-level parking structure with 487 parking spaces at their Superstore in Hampden Town Center. Six entry/exit lanes allow easy vehicular access to the lower garage level, while a speed ramp services the upper level. To maximize comfort for shoppers, the floors are flat, and two oversized elevators enable patrons with shopping carts to easily navigate to the parking levels. Four stair towers allow for pedestrian access at multiple locations in the garage. A portion of the top deck was also designed for summer usage as a garden center, and planters were included to provide warmth and color.
