The Missouri Development Finance Board selected Carl Walker to conduct a three-phase parking study for a proposed 1,062 space mixed-use parking garage to serve the Old Post Office District redevelopment project. The study included a parking supply and demand projection, a garage design review and a financial assessment for the project.
The initial phase of the project involved the review and adjustment of an existing parking supply and demand study. New project developments were evaluated and previous demand estimates were reviewed in order to refine parking supply projections. The second phase of the project involved a design review of the planned parking facility. The parking geometrics and structural systems of the anticipated facility were evaluated in order to ensure efficiency and customer comfort was maximized.
Finally, a financial review was conducted that included an assessment of projected parking revenues and expenses as well as an estimate of projected development costs.
