The parking lots at 1011/ 1111 East Touhy are on-grade asphalt parking lots providing approximately 920 parking spaces for the adjacent office buildings. The parking lots exhibited widespread cracking and debonding of the existing asphalt overlay with many areas of ponding water.
Restoration Description
The restoration included full removal and replacement of the existing overlay and restriping of both lots. Drainage improvements were made as part of the new overlay to minimize future ponding. The improvements provided enhanced security and increased parking capacity while at the same time offering a more aesthetically pleasing parking facility.
