Park View Tower

Park View Tower is a 21-story residential high-rise constructed in 1972 with the concrete columns, slab edges and cantilevered balconies exposed on the exterior. Concrete masonry block finished with face brick infill the exposed concrete frame fully on two elevations, and as spandrels with aluminum-framed windows and sliding doors on the other two elevations.

Carl Walker performed inspections in compliance with the municipal façade examination ordinance and to develop repairs to address chronic water infiltration.

Restoration Description

  • Repair of concrete spalls.
  • Rebuilding of cracked brick corners of the building.
  • Investigate/ rebuilding of a deteriorated and disengaged spandrel panel.
  • Replacing air conditioner sleeves.
